Pixel pitch – how pixel pitch affects resolution
Before we discuss transparent led screen resolution , you need to know what is Pixel pitch?
Pixel pitch, also known as pixel distance, means the distance in (mm) from the center of one LED bulb to the center of the adjacent LED bulb.
"Pixel pitch is the pixel distance"
The smaller the pixel pitch, the larger the LED screen resolution, so the P6 will have a higher resolution than the P10.

How to calculate pixels on each transparent led module?
The led module with a led screen frame uses Surface-mount technology (SMT) - surface gluing technology and mounting LED chips on the circuit board (PCB).
It can be connected together to form a large LED screen

Now we will explain how to calculate pixels per led cabinet (another name for led module).
Let's take the example of a P2.5 LED screen with the dimensions of each module being 320mm x 160mm (width x height).
The P2.5 screen has a pixel pitch of 2.5mm.
First we will calculate the resolution of the width which will be equal to the width divided by pixel pitch: 320/2.5 = 1280 pixels .
Same with height: 160/2.5 = 64 pixels .
So the pixels of each LED module are : 128x64 pixels .
How to calculate pixel resolution for full transparent glass screen
The question is, after obtaining the pixels of each LED module, what is the resolution of the entire transparent LED screen?
"Depending on installation needs, choose a module with appropriate resolution"
If the P2.5 glass LED screen has dimensions of 3200mm x 3200mm.
To calculate the number of LED modules needed, we divide the screen width by the width of the LED module.
We have: 3200/320 = 10 (horizontal panels), meaning the width requires 10 modules
Similar to height: 3200/160 = 20 (height of panels) means the height requires 20 modules
From here we can calculate the transparent LED screen pixels with dimensions: 3200mm x 3200mm
Take the pixels of a module and multiply it by the calculated number of LED modules:
- 128 x 10 = 1280 pixels
- 64 x 20 = 1280 pixels
So we get a transparent LED screen resolution of 1280x1280 pixels
